One of my first projects as an intern at Airside was to design an illustrated book for Japanese mobile company au (by KDDI). The book will be included as a promotional as part of their new brand iida, to be given away with the purchase of novelty phone chargers, available from December 09.

Another bit of fun, illegible typography (a proposal for the cover of a certain architectural magazine).

These are initial sketches for a project that didn’t actually happen in the end. Sometimes it’s like that.

The 2010 Airside Calendar which I designed during my placement is now available to buy from their online shop. It’s packed with “twenty-seven gorgeous illustrations finely crafted by Airside’s crack team of visual manipulators for your aesthetic delight,” and I even managed to sneak one or two of mine in there. Get them while stocks last!

On thursday last week we got to take a day off work to get our hands dirty at Print Club in Dalston. Seeing as there were six of us going to the workshop, we designed our prints according to the theme “The Joy of Six”. You can see the other five prints on the Airside blog. I’m told there may or may not be one set of prints being auctioned off on ebay… I will let you all know if I hear any more about it.

This is the first of a set of four flyers for the new club night we’re putting on at Ladybird in Angel. All the info is on the flyer and you can also join the facebook group. The image is part of four which join up horizontally. Watch this space!
